Proud Veteran Stands Down

Michael Churley, 91, of River Edge, died on March 8, 2012.

Mr. Churley was a proud WWII Veteran; serving his country as a Radio Officer on The USS Peoria in the North Atlantic and Mediterranean. He was a member of the American Legion and Msgr Burke Knights of Columbus Council in River Edge.

Beloved husband of Mary M. Churley (nee McMahon). Loving father of Margaret Churley of River Edge, Michael Churley of Naples NY, and Cecilia Bennett of Apple Valley Minnesota. Adored grand father of Sean, David, and Geoffrey.
