Rotary Charter Member Moves On

Frank A. Raffo Jr., 64, of Oradell, passed away peacefully March 4, 2012 at Hackensack Hospital after a lengthy and courageous battle with diabetes and heart disease.

He graduated River Dell High School where he was a member of the tennis team and acted in school plays. Frank completed a business degree at Fairleigh Dickenson University and became a financial planner. He enjoyed sporting activities especially skiing and softball. Frank loved Oradell and was an active volunteer serving his community in different capacities, including various positions on the planning board. Frank also was a charter member of the Oradell-Emerson Rotary Club. 

He is survived by long-time companion Carol Ann Benson, sister Jane and her husband Gary Nocella, nephew Robert Nocella and wife Tara, and niece Karen Gervais and husband Eric, four grandnephews and one grandniece. He is also survived by Carol Ann’s three children Tom Willemann (Sue), Keith Willemann (Anna), Kara Burns (Kevin) and six grandsons.

Frank was predeceased by his parents Margaret Raffo (Willenbrock) and Frank Raffo Sr.
