Spanning His Wings Across the Country

Vincent D. Spano, 64, of Hackensack, formerly of River Edge and Jersey City, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2012.

Vincent proudly served his country as a member of the Army National Guard for five years during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Starter at the Orchard Hills Golf Course in Paramus for six years, previously, he was a Distributor and Liquor salesman for R & R Liquors in West Caldwell, and also as Golf Pro for Haworth Country Club. He was a former member of the Professional Golfers Association, and a parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church in River Edge.

Beloved husband for 31 years of Arlene F. (nee Brady). Devoted son of Mildred Formato Spano and the late Joseph Spano. Loving father of Vincent Spano of Hackensack. Dearest brother of Joseph Spano and his wife Eileen, Peter Spano and his wife Rose and Gail Quinn and her husband Colin. Vincent also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends.
