The Golden Hawks baseball team bolstered by Mike Oliver's grand slam and Bob Croonquist's three-run homer fell one run shy of advancing in the North 1 Group 2 state tournament. River Dell fell 11-10 to North Warren.  The Patriots on their home turf in Blairstown were led by Hunter Stevens three hits and Nick Macainoe's two doubles and three RBI.   The Golden Hawks boys' lacrosse had taken an early 7-6 halftime lead over Lakeland in the North Group 2 state tournament but an 11-point run by the Lancers eliminated River Dell's chances of advancing. The Hawks fell 19-9.  Goalie Ben Sagerman came up with 15 saves. John Sherlock netted four goals; Justin Kuchar and Steven Lica had two each and Mike Neville picked up one goal. The Bergen Catholic Crusaders baseball finished out their regular season with a 15-7 win over the Demarest Norsemen. In seven innings, Eric Flanagan blasted a double and a triple; Kevin McAndrew has a double; Toby Schwartz belted a double and a triple; and Dan Tattoli nailed a home run.
