A box score recap of the Hawks and Crusaders on the field

To finish out the season in the Big North League, Bergen Catholic tennis knocked off DePaul Catholic 4-1  while the Golden Hawks were upset 5-0 by Tenafly. The Crusaders' Brian Balico dropped his first singles match in three, 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) but Bergen came back with a vengenance taking second and third singles and first and second doubles.

Bergen Catholic Baseball had a cross-over game with Hudson Catholic for a close 11-10 victory led by Anthony Apreda on the mound. Zach Cerbo had a double and home run for three RBO. Eric Flanagan blasted a double and two RBI.

In the state volleyball tournament, Bergen Catholic took to the home court against the West Essex Knights and came out on top 2-0. The Crusaders won 31-29, 25-13 to advance to the next round.

At the 77th state golf championship at Neshanc Valley Golf Club, Bergen Catholic's Harrison Shih shot a five under par 67 for an individual Tournament of Champions title. The junior had seven birdies and two bogeys. He birdied his first two holes in the shot gun start, sinking a 15-foot birdie putt on the par-4 eighth hole and a 35-footer on the par-5 ninth hole.
