A quick recap of the Golden Hawks and Crusaders competitive exploits

Off to a strong first period start, the Golden Hawks Boys LAX team decimated the competition at home on Wednesday, 12-4 over the Demarest Norsemen. The Hawks took a 6-1 lead in the first period and by halftime were still ahead 8-2. The Norsemen tried in the third to play catch-up as goalie Stephen Howard made quick saves, but a four-goal push at the end by RD gave the Hawks a win.
John Sherlock led all scorers with five goals; Mike Neville and Mike Monopoli picked up a pair each; Evan Rowley, Steven Luca and Kevin Barry found the net once. Ben Sagerman took to the cage and came up with seven saves.
Brendan McCullagh and Kirk Nouhan led the Crusaders Volleyball team to a 2-1 win over Wallington. After dropping the first match 25-16, BC digged deep for the following 25-15 and 25-20 wins. McCullagh racked up 26 kills and 14 digs; Nouhan had 34 assists.

BC Golf did it again at the Ridgewood Country Club with a 147 final score compared to the Maroons 162. Harrison Shi and Erick Alnoso came in at par 36 with Ryan Rose finishing at 37 and Sean O'Neill at 38.
