A quick recap of the Hawks and Crusaders exploits on the field

The Crusaders Baseball team only need five innings  for a big 10-0 win over Passaic yesterday. And the victory was an ever bigger accomplishment as freshman pitcher Liam Flanagan took the mound for his first outing this season. While Flanagan held his own on the mound, the Crusaders bats were just as hot. Toby Schwartz knocked in two RBI with a double while Robert Quigley blasted a triple. Elliot Conn, Eric Flanagan and Dylan Reid brought home the rest of the runners.

It was a busy day on the green as both the Crusaders Golf and Golden Hawks Golfers came in at par. Kevin Smyth (42) helped Bergen Catholic remain undefeated with a 177 score over Paramus Catholic's 215 at the Knickerbocker Country Club. Back at the Hackensack Country Club, River Dell finished with a close 170 score win over neighboring Paramus' 191. Scott Kim finished with a 35, one point under par to increase the Hawks record to 13-4.

At the Ironman Invitational, Ramapo College in Mahwah, the River Dell boys track and field finished 8th while the girls track came in 4th.
