Due to Tuesday's winter storm, public schools in River Edge and Oradell will be closed Wednesday, according to statements from the school districts.   Officials of the River Edge, Ramapo-Indian Hills and Oradell districts have announced that schools will be shut down in the interest of safety. For Ramapo and Indian Hills high schools, that means a change to the mid-term examination schedule. The district website says exams for English and Science will be given Thursday. And Oradell school officials offer advice to all the kids who get a day off: Enjoy the snow—and a good book.
