Week Ahead: Hawks Class of '12 Receives Diplomas

After four years of hard work at River Dell High School, the Class of 2012 will don their caps and gowns and finally receive their diplomas. Commencement is schedule for Thursday at 5pm on the turf field but will be held inside the upper gymnasium incase of rain. The ceremony will also be broadcast live in the school auditorium.

The River Edge Mayor and Council will continue discussing a that was along party lines. The governing body has stated they would reconsider the ordinance if any language pertaining to trees on private property was removed. The meeting starts at 7pm on Monday.

The River Dell Board of Education is scheduled to meet on Monday as well at 8pm in the high school media center to recognize staff and faculty achivements along with approving the list of coaches for the 2012-13 school year.

The River Edge Board of Education will have a short meeting on Wednesday, 6:45pm in Classroom 106 at Roosevelt School to approve the resignation of board member Shawn Kucharski.
