Name the top issues currently facing your town and how you plan to address them:

As an active member of the community and regular participant of Town Council and committee meetings, I have the opportunity to hear from many residents in Fair Haven. In response to their questions, we have an opportunity and an obligation to ensure:

1. Fiscal responsibility of all municipal tax dollars.
2. Safety of our residents including cyclists, pedestrians and all vehicles.
3. Proper commitment and ownership for all municipal projects, including the police station and department of public works. As stated by several community residents , "We need accountability and we need to see results."
4. Consistent maintenance and upgrades of our parks, natural fields area and playing fields.
5. Collaboration with our police department, superintendent of schools, and all volunteers including the Fair Haven Fire Department and Office of Emergency Management.

Identify specific goals or ideas you have to enhance life in your town:

"Listen with curiosity. Speak with honesty. Act with integrity." - Roy T. Bennett

I have spent years listening to our residents and have concluded that we should be taking a long-term, holistic view at all of our goals. By clearly defining the short- and long-term priorities, and laying out a clear, transparent plan to achieve them, we will make progress. Mayor Halpern has done an incredible job as the leader of our town, and I look forward to the opportunity to partner alongside Drew LaBarbera and the entire Town Council to get things done.

What in your experience or background prepares you for election to office:

With over 20 years experience navigating large, complex financial services institutions, I have developed several transferable skills that will help inform my approach to council.

For example, I have spent years bringing parties with opposing views together to work towards a common goal. This is extremely important as we think about how our council works together to serve our community.

Through my work in developing senior leaders that make people and organizations better, I have seen, first-hand, the common traits of successful leaders. To that end, I am inspired by the opportunity to work alongside one of the best leaders I know: Mayor Halpern.

As a leader, Mayor Halpern is credible, honest, collaborative, action-oriented and extremely passionate about our community. He leads by example in rolling up his sleeves to get things done.

Lastly, I love being a part of this community. Coaching our travel baseball team has been one of the most exciting and rewarding experiences in my life. Our children bring energy, enthusiasm (win or lose) and passion with them everyday. And I want to ensure Fair Haven remains a safe place for them to grow.
