No Meetings, Features, News Updates

It's what's going on this week in the Rumson-Fair Haven area.

Good morning R-FH friends and fans! I hope you all had a good weekend.

If not, you'll still have a chance to spend time out and about, because the weather is supposed to be nice all week. Yup, that's what the weather troll, uh, that is, very nice National Weather Service tells us — mild temperatures and lower humidity.

Well, last week we found out that, let's face it, Rumson Police Chief Scott Paterson may just have a side career in film to fall back on. If you haven't seen his "premier," you really should start your week with a great laugh for a good cause. Click here

Now, don't forget to get flocked or flock someone else!

And, some really good news for people in the area and police came when the Blue Stove Antiques robber was sentenced to nine years in the pokey and some Hurricane Sandy contractors allegedly caught not doing the right thing were locked up.

There was a lot more to check out. Click here if you missed anything. All last week's top stories are set there. All you need to do is scroll and click on them.

This week …

There are no noteworthy meetings, so we'll be catching up with the Fair Haven Board of Education and filling you in with some features and business stories and news that we'd like to expand on. There are also some more Sea Bright tidbits to update you on.

We will also be featuring some fun throwback photos to gear people up for the RFH Class of '78 reunion which is coming soon. Mike Grady needs a head count and some money, so fork it over and get in touch. We will have more on that later today.

Don't forget to dine out for Lunch Break on Wednesday. Check the announcement on rumson.patch.com for more details of which restaurants are participating. And, get your garden goods over to the organization's headquarters to ensure that those in need are getting some good, fresh summer veggies.

Oh, and, yes, caption the photo of the day for us! Pretty please.

If we missed anything, let us know. In the meantime, see you around the towns …
