Sea Bright Fire Rescue reunited a family separated by a walk gone awry on Friday — a family of ducks.
Firemen responded to a call from Chris' Landing that eight ducklings had fallen into a storm drain. The mother, hovering and unable to fetch them, was frantic, according to the rescue unit's Facebook page.
"The members were able to gain access to the storm drain and successfully removed all ducklings and reunited them with their mother," a post from Squad 43 said.
Unscathed, the family continued its walk, with the firemen being lauded as heroes.
