Rumson-Fair Haven Patch Gets a New Look

I want to welcome you to the new Rumson-Fair Haven Patch. We’re pleased with it and we think you’ll like it, too.

First of all, we think the site looks livelier, and more reflective of the Rumson-Fair Haven area. For instance, see the banner photo at the top of the page?

I don't think I even have to tell most of you what it is — everyone's favorite spot around here, the Navesink River, looking from Rumson to Fair Haven.

But that isn’t the only thing that’s more localized in appearance on the new Patch. Now our news you may find is easier to navigate, comment on and share.

And right below the news on the homepage you’ll see blogs, where we can showcase more town voices and get a view of what’s happening from our local voices.

We've also made it easier to start a blog yourself — any time, about anything.

And speaking of reader voices, the freshest thing you’ll find on the new Patch is our Boards section. The Boards are an open forum on Patch where you can post announcements about anything you want — lost cats and dogs, school plays, wedding announcements, or that strange thing you saw. Anything of interest you'd like to share with the community.

There’s also an Opinion Board. Everyone in town has one, so why not put it all in one place? The Buy/Sell/Trade Board is where you can post your garage sale and get rid of the stuff that’s taken over your basement. And there’s a Business Updates Board — a dedicated spot for business owners to post news about sales, specials, openings and closings.
