Here's How Much Rain Fell In Union County
Roadways have reopened Wednesday after flash flooding and rain fell on Scotch Plains and Fanwood. Here are the totals in Union County:
SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ — Scotch Plains and Fanwood seem to be drying out on Wednesday after experiencing more flooding and road closures on Tuesday. As of Wednesday morning, most roadways have been reopened with the exception of Blackwells Mills in Hillsborough.
The highest recorded rainfall was in West Creek in Ocean County, where 5.42 inches was measured. Union County wasn't far behind with Westfield getting 4.19 inches as of 7 a.m. on Tuesday.
