Scotch Plains Redevelopment Committee To Discuss Several Projects

The committee will give updates on several redevelopment projects for the township at a meeting Wednesday night.

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — The Scotch Plains Redevelopment Committee is hosting a public town hall Wednesday night to discuss several redevelopment projects.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Town Hall in the Town Council Chambers and will also be livestreamed on public access Channels FIOS 22 and Comcast 34, as well as on Facebook Live.

According to the agenda, the committee will discuss a number a projects, including a 2406 and 2416 Plainfield Avenue redevelopment study update, an Elite Properties redevelopment plan update, a 475 Terrill Road redevelopment plan update, a 1805 Front Street project update and a Fatima House redevelopment study update.

Committee member comment and a public comment session will take place after the updates.

Public comments can be made in person or through the call in number at 908-322-2076 during the appropriate public comment portions of the meeting.
