Union Co. 2022 Memorial Day Parade To Honor Fallen Veterans
The parade to take place on May 30 will feature live music, floats, military units and vehicles, a live reenactment and much more.
UNION COUNTY, NJ — Memorial Day is coming up on May 30, and Union Township's Veterans' Alliance Memorial Day Parade returns this year.
The parade will kick off at Veterans of Foreign Wars on High Street in Union at 10 a.m. on May 30. For best viewing, the township advises people to watch the parade from Pearl Harbor Square on Stuyvesant Ave.
The parade will commemorate the men and women who lost their lives while serving in the military.

Featuring music by the Uptown String Band, floats, show cars, military units and vehicles, Clydesdale horses, civic and youth organizations, as well as a historic war reenactment, the parade features something for everyone.
There will even be a Revolutionary War Battle at 11:30 a.m. at Veterans Honor Roll & Memorial Park.

The reenactment and memorial program will take place at Honor Roll Park starting at 12 p.m.
In addition, a pre-Memorial Day encampment will take place on Sunday, May 29 at Friberger Park from 1 to 4 p.m. The encampment will feature a reenactment with the Continental Army, British Army and Hessians.
