Employee At Secaucus Gun Range Accused Of Pointing Gun At Customer
An employee at Long Shot gun range in Secaucus is accused of pointing a gun at a customer after the two got into an argument Saturday:

SECAUCUS, NJ — A man who works as an employee for Long Shot gun range in Secaucus is accused of pointing a gun at a customer after the two got into an argument.
This happened this past Saturday evening, Aug. 17, said Secaucus Police.
The employee is Jonathan Rojas, 35, of Jersey City. He works as a range safety officer with Long Shot, and he owns a handgun carry permit, said police.

Police say he got into a dispute with a customer Saturday night because the customer was violating range rules; police did not say how.
"At the time of the dispute, the customer was unarmed, did not have access to a firearm any longer nor was the customer on the firing line any longer," said Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller.

As the dispute between the two men continued, Rojas is accused of pulling out his handgun and pointing it at the unarmed customer.
It was the customer who called 911, and Secaucus Police responded to the shooting range at 375 County Avenue at 9:14 p.m. Saturday and took Rojas into police custody. Rojas was charged with aggravated assault [2C:12-1B(4)], illegal weapons possession [2C:39-4A(1)] and unjustifiable display of a handgun [2C:58-4.4A(5)].
When Patch called Long Shot Monday to see if they had any comment or additional information, an employee hung up the phone when we identified ourselves as a reporter.
Rojas was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
