SECAUCUS, NJ — A Ridgefield Park man is accused of threatening to run over a Rt. 3 gas station attendant, indicating he had a gun in his waistband and telling the attendant "I am going to kill you."
This happened at 12:40 p.m. last Thursday, Oct. 24: Secaucus Police got a call from the Exxon at 445 Rt. 3 west (pictured above) that the driver of a U-Haul van tried to strike the gas station attendant.
Secaucus Police say Nelson Castellon, 27, of Ridgefield Park, pulled up in a U-Haul van. He tried to get gas, but he had no money. When the attendant wouldn’t comply, he drove the U-Haul towards him, said police. He also verbally threatened the attendant, saying he would "kill him," while gesturing toward his waistband, giving the appearance he had a gun, said police.
