North Bergen Man, Teacher, Accused Of Molesting Middle School Student

The North Bergen man was the victim's teacher at Carteret Middle School when the incident occurred in 2022, say police:

CARTERET, NJ — A teacher at Carteret Middle School is accused of sexually touching a middle school student there.

The teacher is Jeffrey Munguia, 32, a North Bergen resident. He was the victim’s teacher at Carteret Middle School when the incident occurred in 2022, said Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone.

Munguia was charged with sexual assault and child endangerment. He was arrested Wednesday of this week.
