Rental Assistance, Job Fair, Childcare Help Saturday In Secaucus

Hudson County will host a fair from 11 - 2 this Saturday at the Secaucus Rec Center, with help finding jobs, rental assistance and more:

SECAUCUS, NJ — Secaucus Mayor Mike Gonnelli and Hudson County Executive Craig Guy will hold a community resource fair in Secaucus this Saturday, Sept. 7.

This is a government-sponsored fair that aims to provide Secaucus residents with information about affordable housing, job opportunities, information about financial assistance, help finding childcare, the Hudson County Sheriff and more.

The fair will go from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Secaucus Recreation Center (1200 Koelle Blvd.).

The following resources from Hudson County will be available to residents of Secaucus:

  • Flu Shots (as available)
  • Hudson Regional Health
  • Childcare services
  • Youth services
  • Planning services
  • Transportation services
  • Rental and housing assistance
  • Mental health services
  • HC Cultural Affairs
  • HC Sheriff’s Office
  • HC Corrections & Rehabilitation
  • Senior Care & Aging services
  • Employment services
  • Veterans’ services
  • Hudson County Schools of Technology
  • Business and small-business resources
  • Hudson County Community College
  • HC Improvement Authority
  • HC Register’s Office
  • A representative will be there from the late Congressman Bill Pascrell’s office

Hudson County has hosted similar fairs in Bayonne, Kearny, Union City, Jersey City and Hoboken.

"My administration is focused on collaborating with local municipalities to bring valuable resources directly to communities, and this weekend, Mayor Gonnelli and I have teamed up to do just that in Secaucus," said Guy.

"Whether residents are interested in business or development opportunities, are looking for job opportunities, or access to healthcare and mental health services, we are here to help and we hope to see you there at the Secaucus Recreation Center on Saturday!" said Secaucus Mayor Mike Gonnelli.
