Repairman Accused Of Touching Woman Inappropriately In Secaucus

SECAUCUS, NJ — A Ridgefield Park man was arrested last week in Secaucus and charged with criminal sexual contact.

The man arrested was Carlos Mejia-Murillo, 46, of Ridgefield Park.

Police say this happened June 20 at a home on 9th Street: The woman is a tenant and Mejia-Murillo was hired by the landlord to make repairs within the apartment. He is accused of touching her intimate parts at noon on June 20, said police.

He was arrested June 24 at Secaucus Police headquarters. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
