Secaucus firefighters responded to Laurel Hill Park Sunday evening to help a motorboat that lost power in the Hackensack River.
SECAUCUS, NJ — Secaucus firefighters responded to Laurel Hill Park Sunday evening to help a motorboat that lost power in the Hackensack River.
Residents may have noticed fire trucks near the river at Laurel Hill at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday. There was a motorboat in the Hackensack River and the boat suffered a mechanical malfunction, said firefighters at the scene
Secaucus Fire Dept. had to tow the boat to shore, and then firefighters had to pull the boat out of the water.
