SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:

On Aug. 26 at 9:14 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 34-year-old male, Moustapha Sawadogo of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $2,000 with a 10% option. Mr. Sawadogo was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On Aug. 26 at 12:23 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Bergen County Jail to take into custody a 27-year-old male, Ivan Savych of Garfield, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $700. Savych was unable to post bail and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Aug. 26 at 5:29 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 23-year-old male, Giancarlo Rodriguez of North Arlington, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A], Tampering with Public Records [2C:28-7A(1)] and Possession of Burglary Tools [2C:5-5A(2)]. Mr. Rodriguez was issued his complaint summons along with 1 motor vehicle summons and he was released from police custody.

On Aug. 26 at 6:07 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Port Authority Police Department to take into custody a 30-year-old male, Marquis Johnson of East Orange, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $750. Mr. Johnson was also found to have 4 outstanding warrants issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $1,750. Mr. Johnson was unable to post bail and he was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Aug. 27 at 11:10 a.m., Secaucus Police arrested a 32-year-old female, Bianca Edrington of Orange, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ with no bail along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $550. Ms. Edrington was subsequently transported to the East Orange Police Department.

On Aug. 28 at 8:36 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of the Maple Street Ramp and Paterson Plank Road on a report of a suspicious individual who was seen throwing bags around. Police arrested a 59-year-old male, John Tracy of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hillside, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Tracy was also charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Methamphetamine [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Gamma Hydroxybutyrate [2C:35-10.2A] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A]. Hillside Police Department did release Mr. Tracy on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Tracy was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Aug. 29 at 10:53 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old female, Jacquelin Velez of West New York, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Guttenberg, NJ in the amount of $1,100 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Garfield, NJ in the amount of $1,000. Guttenberg along with Garfield did release Ms. Velez on her own recognizance pending future court dates and she was released from police custody.

On Aug. 30 at 2:29 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 58-year-old male, Delgar Thompson of Wilkes Barre, PA for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Thompson was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with 5 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On Aug. 30 at 3:32 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 27-year-old male, Ari Arias Baldera of Brooklyn, NY for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the NJ State Police with no bail. Mr. Arias was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and officers from the NJ State Police responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Baldera for transport back to their authority.

On Aug. 30 at 6:01 p.m., in the area of Rt. 3 East, officers located a motor vehicle with a stolen license plate. A motor vehicle stop of the vehicle was conducted and the police arrested a 29-year-old male, Andrey Martinez-Aquino of Union City, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. Mr. Martinez-Aquino was issued his complaint summons along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On Sept. 1 at 4:46 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 25-year-old male, Henilkuma Sheta of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ in the amount of $1,000. Mr. Sheta was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 7 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On Sept. 1 at 9:58 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29-year-old male, Fradwin Garcia-Frias of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Mansfield, NJ in the amount of $750. Garcia-Frias was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

On Sept. 1 at 11:29 p.m., Secaucus Police attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 3 west. The involved vehicle subsequently fled from the police. The vehicle was located by the police in the area of 500 Plaza Drive where the police subsequently arrested the driver, a 19-year-old male, Elvin Almonte of North Bergen, NJ for Eluding [2C:29-2B], Endangering Another Person [2C:24—7.1A(2)] and Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(2)]. Mr. Almonte was issued his complaint summons along with 7 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody. Say police: "It was a routine motor vehicle stop and the vehicle fled on the wrong side of road and entered Rt. 3 west, where the vehicle shut off its lights in the area of Raymour & Flanagan. Officers then located the vehicle in the area of Harmon Meadow Blvd and Genova Drive." Police say there was no pursuit. There was at least one juvenile passenger in the car.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
