SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:
On July 15 at 3:38 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Chili’s located at 700 Plaza Drive on a report of a dispute. Police arrested a 22-year-old female, Darnesha Williams of Secaucus, NJ for Theft of Services [2C:20-8A], Harassment [2C:33-4B] and Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(3)(A)]. Ms. Williams was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On July 16 at 4:17 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to T.J. Maxx for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 62-year-old male, Steven Malcaus of Brooklyn, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(1)]. Mr. Malcaus was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Wall, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Wall did release Mr. Malcaus on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Malcaus was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On July 16 at 5:34 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of threats made. Police arrested a 36-year-old male, William Cheek of Brooklyn, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ with no bail and 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office with no bail. Mr. Cheek was subsequently transported to the Middlesex County Jail.
On July 17 at 11:07 a.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to a shoplifting incident that occurred at CVS located at 101 Plaza Centre on March 25, police arrested a 36-year-old male, Luis Moure of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. Mr. Moure was taken into custody at Secaucus Police headquarters, was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On July 17 at 5:30 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the intersection of New County Road and Seaview Drive on a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 36-year-old male, Preston Perry of East Brunswick, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50] and three counts of Assault by Auto [2C:12-1C(2)]. Mr. Perry was issued his complaint summons along with three motor vehicle summonses and he was subsequently released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On July 18 at 10:57 a.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to a theft that was reported to the police on March 23, 2023, the police arrested a 32-year-old female, Michelle Moran of Staten Island, NY for Theft [2C:20-3A] and Conspiracy to commit Theft [2C:5-2A(1)]. Ms. Moran was taken into custody at Secaucus Police headquarters. She was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On July 18 at 2:11 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Xpedited Services located at 630 New County Road on a report of an employee theft. During the investigation, the police arrested a 41-year-old male, Jesus Ortiz Rodriguez of Bayonne, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A]. Mr. Ortiz Rodriguez was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On July 19 at 2:27 p.m., Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit was conducting surveillance on a vehicle in the Home Depot parking lot bearing a stolen license. A motor vehicle stop of the vehicle was conducted where the police arrested a 25-year-old male, Wueilver Vasquez-Martinez of New York, NY for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A], Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)] and Using an Anti-Shoplifting Device [2C:20-11F]. The police also arrested a 22-year-old male, Danyer Jimenez Naspe of New York, NY and a 33-year-old female, Zallireth Rigio of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20 11B(1)], Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)] and Using an Anti-Shoplifting Device [2C:20-11F]. Mr. Vasquez-Martinez was issued his complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody. Ms. Rigio was issued her complaint summons and she was released from police custody. Mr. Jimenez-Naspe was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On July 19 at 4:51 p.m., in relation to a robbery and sex assault that occurred at the Red Roof Inn on 15 Meadowlands Parkway on May 28, Secaucus Police arrested a 33-year-old woman, Hanifah Worrell of Piscataway, NJ for Conspiracy to commit Evidence Tampering [2C:5-2A(1)] and Attempt to commit Evidence Tampering [2C:5-1A(1)]. Ms. Worrell was taken into custody at Secaucus Police headquarters, was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On July 19 at 9:18 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Kohl’s for a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37-year-old male, Karl Biassey of Jersey City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. Mr. Biassey was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $2,500 with a 10% option, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Rockaway, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of South Brunswick, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Biassey was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On July 20 at 4:15 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart for a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, police arrested a 20-year-old male, Juan Quiroz-Manzueta of Yonkers, NY along with a 30-year-old male, James Castro of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20 11B(1)]. Both Mr. Quiroz-Manzueta and Mr. Castro were issued their complaint summonses and were subsequently released from police custody.
On July 20 at 10:34 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Speedway located at 400 Rt. 3 West on a report of possible intoxicated driver in the parking lot. Police arrested a 42-year-old male, Shane Brice of Belleville, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Brice was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On July 21 at 5:45 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Kohl’s for a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 57-year-old male, Alexs Castillo of Newton, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(1)]. Mr. Castillo was found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ with no bail. Mr. Castillo was issued his complaint summons and was subsequently transported to the North Bergen Police Department.
