Secaucus Police made a slew of prostitution arrests last week:

SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:

On July 30 at 11:21 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of 1322 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a road rage incident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 34-year-old female, Jade Taylor of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D], specifically a bat. Taylor was issued her complaint summons and was subsequently released from police custody.

On July 30 at 11:12 a.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to a theft that occurred on March 23, 2023, the police arrested a 36-year-old male, Freddie Matos of Jersey City, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A] and Conspiracy to Commit Theft [2C:5-2A(1)]. Mr. Matos was taken into custody at Secaucus Police headquarters. Mr. Matos was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On July 31 at 2:49 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Wendy’s located at 16 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of an individual being aggressive with the employees at the location. It was further reported to police that the male party jumped over the counter and proceeded to take food and leave the establishment. During the investigation, the police arrested a 25-year-old male, James Hunter of Secaucus, NJ for Robbery [2C:15-1A(2)]. Mr. Hunter was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Aug. 1 at 6:12 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Union County Jail to take into custody a 43-year-old male, Juan Cruz-Carmona of Elizabeth, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ with no bail. The outstanding warrant was issued by the NJ Transit Police Department. Mr. Cruz-Carmona was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Aug. 1 in an effort to reduce vice-related crimes within the town of Secaucus, the Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit arrested the following individuals. When asked where the women and men were arrested, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said: "This was an undercover operation, citing ongoing investigations, I cannot release the location(s)."

At 6:16 PM, the police arrested a 39-year-old male, Alex Devilliers of North Bergen, NJ for Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)] along with a 35-year-old female, Dilcaury Berroa of New York, NY for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. Both Mr. Devilliers and Ms. Berroa were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody. At 7:37 PM, the police arrested a 24-year-old female, Cristaleen Rosario Santos of the Bronx, NY for Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)] and Engaging Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. The police also arrested a 23-year-old female, Yasirys Delanieve of Paterson, NJ for Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)], Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)] and Conspiracy to commit Prostitution [2C:5-2A(1)]. Both Ms. Rosario Santos and Ms. Delanieve were issued their complaint summons and were released from police custody. At 8:53 PM, the police arrested a 27-year-old female, Mauren Paez-Duran of North Arlington, NJ for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. Mr. Paez-Duran was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. At 10:15 PM, the police arrested a 38-year-old female, Rafaelina Perez of Union City, NJ for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. Ms. Perez was issued her complaint summons and released from police custody. At 10:36 PM, the police arrested a 33-year-old female, Francy Rubiano-Silva of North Bergen, NJ along with a 27-year-old female, Joselyne Chavez Valencia of Elizabeth, NJ for Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)] and Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. Both Ms. Chavez Valencia and Ms. Rubiano-Silva were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On Aug. 1 at 6:27 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Burlington Coat Factory at 31 Mill Creek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 36-year-old male, Gerson Piminchumocampos of Paterson, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Using an Anti-Shoplifting Device [2C:20-11F]. Mr. Piminchumocampos was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Aug. 2 at 11:03 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29-year-old male, Tyrone Rourk of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $3,000.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Rourk was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

On Aug. 2 at 3:34 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 54-year-old male, Luis Bardales-Gutierrez of the Bronx, NY for Exhibiting a Fraudulent Insurance Card [2C:21-2.3B]. Mr. Bardales-Gutierrez was issued his complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On Aug. 3 at 9:33 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 39-year-old male, Jose Caballero of North Bergen, NJ along with a 38-year-old female, Crystal Spies of North Bergen, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. Ms. Spies was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $2,500. Caballero was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. Ms. Spies was issued her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
