Secaucus Police Blotter, June 23 - June 30
A Newark man is charged with fraudulently using credit cards at the Secaucus Best Buy on June 4, and many more arrests:

SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:
On June 23 at 2:55 p.m., police observed a motor vehicle strike a parked car in the area of Huber Street. A motor vehicle stop was conducted and police arrested a 43-year-old man of Secaucus and charged him with Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 5 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On June 23 at 9:43 a.m., Secaucus Police observed a man possibly inhaling a CDS in the parking area of the Exxon gas station located at 209 Rt. 3 East. Police arrested a 45-year-old man of Tarrytown, NY for Possession of Toxic Chemicals [2C:35-10.4b(1)]. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On June 23 at 12:47 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Bergen County Jail to take into custody a 31-year-old man of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $750. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On June 24 at 12:10 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to UPS located at 493 County Avenue on a report of an employee theft. During the investigation, police arrested a 38-year-old man of East Orange, NJ along with a 23-year-old man of Jersey City, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A]. Both were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On June 24 at 11:12 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take into custody a 33-year-old man of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $10,000 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000 with a 10% option. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On June 24 at 1:55 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation of an incident of criminal sexual contact that occurred June 20 on 9th Street, the police arrested Carlos Mejia-Murillo, 46, of Ridgefield Park, NJ for Criminal Sexual Contact [2C:14-3B]. He is accused of touching a woman's intimate parts. The victim is a tenant and Mejia-Murillo was contracted by the landlord to make repairs within the apartment. He is accused of touching her at noon on June 20. He was arrested at Secaucus Police headquarters, was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On June 25 at 6:23 a.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to a car (an Infiniti/Q50) that was stolen from the 700 block of 9th Street, police charged an 18-year-old male, Wesley Garcia of Jersey City, NJ and a 19-year-old male, Kirvin DelarosaDelarosa of Kingston, PA with Motor Vehicle Theft [2C:20-10.2A], Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)], Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle [2C:20-10.1A] and Conspiracy to commit Burglary and Theft [2C:5-2]. Both individuals were incarcerated at the Essex County Jail at the time that the warrants were issued. There were in custody on other offenses in other towns. Both were issued their complaint warrants and processed.
On June 25 at 3:41 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29-year-old man of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $650. He was also charged with Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police and Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(1)]. He was able to post bail for the warrant issued out of Jersey City. He was issued his complaint summons along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On June 25 at 5:59 p.m., Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle improperly parked in the fire zone area of the CVS parking lot. Police arrested a 30-year-old man of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Lodi, NJ in the amount of $1,000 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On June 26 at 10:45 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Hudson County Superior Court to take into custody a 35-year-old man of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $750. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was transported to the Hudson County jail.
On June 26 at 1:19 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to unlawful use of credit cards that occurred at Best Buy on June 4, police responded to Passaic, NJ and arrested a 31-year-old male, David Santos of Newark NJ for Unlawful Use of Credit Cards [2C:21-6C(1)], Unlawful Use of Credit Cards [2C:21-6H], Identity Theft [2C:21-17A(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card [2C:5-2A(1)]. Santos was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On June 26 at 5:05 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 58-year-old man of Clifton, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Lincoln Park, NJ for $1,500 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Pascack Joint Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000. He was released on his own recognizance pending future court dates in relation to both outstanding warrants, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On June 26 at 7:32 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to 3rd Avenue on a report of a dispute. During the investigation, in the area of 1400 Paterson Plank Road, police arrested a 25-year-old man of White Hall, PA for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Harrisburg, PA with no bail. He was also charged with Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10]. He was issued his complaint warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On June 26 at 8:13 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 48-year-old man of Naples, FL for Possession of a Fraudulent Government Document [2C:21-2.1D]. He was issued his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On June 27 at 12:42 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to 153 County Avenue and arrested a 53-year-old man Jeffery Swenson of Buffalo, MN for Enticing a Child [2C:13-6A] and Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(1)]. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On June 27 at 7:12 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the NJ State Police Barracks in Bridgewater, NJ to take into custody a 40-year-old man of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ with no bail along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $5,000 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of South Hackensack, NJ in the amount of $1,000. He was released on his own recognizance in relation to the outstanding warrants issued out of all 3 jurisdictions pending future court dates and was released from police custody.
On June 28 at 3:49 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to 45 Meadowlands Parkway (Osprey Cove apartments) on a report of a dispute. Police arrested a 21-year-old man of Weehawken, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $2,500 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
