On Oct. 7 at 3:17 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 25-year-old male, Amdy Niang of Madison, WI along with a 22-year-old male, Thepaa Gueye of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. Mr. Niang was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. The Secaucus Police did release Mr. Niang on his own recognizance pending a future court date in relation to the outstanding warrant. Mr. Gueye was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. Mr. Niang was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Oct. 7 at 7:14 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Extended Stay Hotel located at 1 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a verbal dispute. Police arrested a 58-year-old female, Lisa Memoli of Secaucus, NJ for Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer [2C:12-1B(5)(A)]. Ms. Memoli was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Oct. 9 at 10:16 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take into custody a 35-year-old male, Adam Reid of Brooklyn, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $750. Reid was ultimately released on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody.

On Oct. 9 at 11:53 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of 625 Secaucus Road on a report of a motor vehicle crash. Police arrested a 39-year-old male, Carlos Ajuis of Guttenberg, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Ajuis was also charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Ajuis was also found to have 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Ajuis was issued his complaint warrant along with 5 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Oct. 10, in an effort to reduce vice related crimes within the town of Secaucus, the Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit conducted an undercover operation and arrested the following individuals; at 7:14 PM, the police arrested a 26-year-old female, Beatriz Hourdeguint-Rodriguez of Kearny, NJ for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)] and Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)]. Ms. Hourdeguint-Rodriguez was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody. At 8:11 PM, the police arrested a 28-year-old female, Yoseph Arellano-Villamizar of Lyndhurst, NJ for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)] and Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)]. Ms. Arellano-Villamizar was also charged with Possession of CDS believed to be "tuci" (a pink powder mixture of ketamine MDMA and caffeine) [2C:35-10A(1)]. Ms. Arellano-Villamizar was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody. At 8:48 PM, the police arrested a 45-year-old female, Soley Perez-Cardenas of Secaucus, NJ for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. Ms. Perez-Cardenas was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody. At 9:36 PM, the police arrested a 46-year-old female, Maryuri Villegas-Valencia of Elmhurst, NY for Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)] along with a 31-year-old female, Lizeth Valdes-Jaramillo of Woodside, NY for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)] and Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)]. Ms. Villegas-Valencia along with Ms. Valdes-Jaramillo were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On Oct. 11 at 9:44 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 27-year-old female, Geraldine Mazo-Morillo of Newark, NJ along with a 22-year-old male, Cristhian Zamora-Mera of Newark, NJ and a 28-year-old male, Joseph Martinez-Rojas of Newark, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. Mr. Martinez-Rojas was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Edgewater, NJ in the amount of $550. Edgewater did release Mr. Martinez-Rojas on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Ms. Morillo-Mazo along with Mr. Zamora-Mera and Mr. Martinez-Rojas were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.
