SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:
On Oct. 2 at 2:49 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Secaucus Municipal Court located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road to take into custody a 48-year-old male, Sava Boric of Kearny, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000. Mr. Boric was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
On Oct. 3 at 5:44 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Middlesex County Jail to take into custody a 31-year-old male, Cristian Garzon-Casanova of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Garzon-Casanova was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union, NJ in the amount of $750.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Montville, NJ in the amount of $750.00 with 10% option, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paterson, NJ in the amount of $750.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of West New York, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Union along with West New York did release Mr. Garzon-Casanova on his own recognizance pending a future court date in regards to their respective outstanding warrants. Mr. Garzon was unable to post bail for the remaining involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Oct. 4 at 5:21 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 36-year-old female, Amanda Anderson of Jersey City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)]. Mr. Anderson was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On Oct. 4 at 10:16 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office to take into custody a 44-year-old male, Julio Ramirez of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Ramirez was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Oct. 5 at 11:48 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 50-year-old male, Malcolm Sirmons of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(2)]. Mr. Sirmons was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Oct. 6 at 6:17 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Verizon located at 200 Mill Creek Drive on a report of civil matter. During the investigation, the police arrested a 55-year-old male, Julio Perez of North Bergen, NJ for Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A]. Mr. Perez was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
