Secaucus Scout Created 200 Supply Bags For Local Homeless Shelter
He does not hesitate to go out of his way to lend a helping hand, the person who nominated him as a Patch Star Student said.

Secaucus, New Jersey — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Jayden is a kind and thoughtful young man, who does not hesitate to go out of his way to lend a helping hand. He is Boy Scout in Troop 146, and for his Eagle project, created over 200 supply bags for a local homeless shelter, including clothing, hygiene kits, and supplies for those in need. Jayden is a volunteer and on the student executive board of Secaucus Cares, a non-profit organization that collects and distributes essential supplies to those in need. In 2023, Jayden joined a group of teenagers in Secaucus Cares to assist an indigenous tribe in Panama rebuild their community after a fire destroyed their school. Jayden is in the National Honor Society and is committed to striving for excellence in his academics. He is on a swim team and enjoys competitive swimming, but delights in bringing a smile to those in his life.

He is a smart, outgoing, and witty young man, who is kind, honest, and compassionate.
