Secaucus Teen Accused Of Uploading Child Porn Images, Other Charges

He is also accused of taking a photo of a woman he knew, without her consent, exposing her intimate parts, and sharing it.

SECAUCUS, NJ — Secaucus Police say a teenage boy in town uploaded and shared photos/videos of child sex abuse material.

In September, Secaucus Police received an online tip from State Police that several sexual images/videos of underage minors were uploaded to Snapchat, X (formerly known as Twitter) and the Telegram messaging app.

State Police — from their Internet Crimes Against Children [I.C.A.C.] Task Force — could trace that the photos/videos were uploaded from an apartment in Harmon Cove Towers.

Secaucus Police obtained a search warrant and the apartment was searched Wednesday, Oct. 9. Police say they found a teen who lives there possessed more than 900 images/videos that contained child sex abuse. Some of the images/videos depicted pre-school and grade-school children as well as teenagers, police said.

Police say the teen was actively “trading” the images/videos with other people online. His computer was seized.

It is unknown if any of the children depicted in these images/videos are known to him.

The teen was charged as a juvenile with two counts of child endangerment and child endangerment (pornography). He was also charged with two counts of invasion of privacy for an unrelated incident where he is accused of taking and disseminating a photo of a female he knew, exposing her intimate parts, without her consent.

The investigation was spearheaded by Secaucus Police Detective Kristen Bronowich.
