The Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit, under the supervision of Detective Sergeant Matthew Ford, launched an investigation to either corroborate or dispel the concerned citizen’s tip.

At 7:46 p.m. last Friday, May 17, detectives from the Anti-Crime Unit stopped Dimoplon in her car on Centre Avenue after she failed to use her turn signal. Police said she was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected crack/cocaine on her person, and placed under arrest.

Police Officer Tyler Pein and police dog Brix were summoned to the stop, and the police dog positively indicated the scent of illicit drugs emanating from the woman's car. This gave police probable cause to search the car, which uncovered additional quantities of suspected crack/cocaine.
