Secaucus Woman Asks Residents To Donate Toiletries For Hoboken Shelter

SECAUCUS, NJ — Secaucus resident Brenda Green, the woman who organized the Kids Blessing Bag Project last December, is now hosting a Soap and Suds fundraiser to help the Hoboken homeless shelter.

The Hoboken Shelter provides the unsheltered with more than 1,000 showers a week and essential laundry services.

Green is asking Secaucus residents to donate travel-size shower soaps and laundry detergent.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for kids to learn the value of giving back and being part of a team that makes a positive impact," said Green.

Last December: Secaucus Kids Fill Bags For Homeless, Domestic Violence Shelters: 47 kids, teensand adults met in the Harmon Cove clubhouse to fill bags for the homeless and domestic violence shelters.
