SECAUCUS, NJ — In early March, a concerned citizen reported to Secaucus Police that illegal drugs were being sold from a home on the 200 block of Front Street.
The Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit, under the supervision of Detective Sergeant Matthew Ford, launched an investigation to either corroborate or dispel the concerned citizen’s tip.
For the past month, police have been quietly monitoring the home and the intersection: Then, at 7 p.m. Thursday, detectives arrested a Milltown, NJ man, Andres Marquez, 33, after police say he purchased cocaine from Kathryn Jarvis, 40, who lives there.

After that man was arrested, police executed a search warrant of Jarvis’ Front Street home that same day, Thursday. The Secaucus Police dog Brix helped.
During the search, police said they found quantities of suspected cocaine and methamphetamine, along with ledgers and drug paraphernalia indicative Jarvis was packaging illicit narcotics for street sale.
