These Secaucus Residents Volunteered To Pick Up 70 Pounds Of Trash

There will be a second clean-up this Saturday, April 27 at Mill Creek Point Park. 9-11 a.m.; meet at 300 Millridge Road.

SECAUCUS, NJ — These Secaucus residents showed up last Saturday morning, April 20, at XChange to remove an incredible 70 bags of trash and debris from County Road Extension.

The Earth Day clean-up was organized by the town of Secaucus, and town environmental coordinator Kimberly McCleary.

"70 bags of trash was an incredible accomplishment," said McCleary. "This was our most extensive clean-up yet. It was an honor to witness the incredible impact we can make when we come together as a community."

There will be a second clean-up this Saturday, April 27, this time at Mill Creek Point Park. 9-11 a.m. Saturday; meet at 300 Millridge Road.

On Monday of this week, the town of Secaucus also hosted an Earth Day-inspired art class with preschool students, and then hosted a second clean-up at the Secaucus Duck Pond.
