Family Of 4 Found Dead In NJ After Welfare Check: Police

Authorities found the 4 dead people after they went to do a welfare check at a home in Plainsboro, officials said.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ - Four people were found dead at a home in Plainsboro on Wednesday evening following a request for a welfare check, police said.

Authorities with the local police and prosecutors office said a 911 call came in shortly after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday requesting a welfare check at a home on Titus Lane in Plainsboro.

On arrival, Plainsboro Police Department found Tej Pratap Singh, 43, Sonal Parihar, 42, and their two children, a 10-year-old male and a 6-year-old female, dead.

Authorities did not release any information regarding the cause of death or if the deceased had any signs of injury. But based on initial investigation, authorities said they have determined that there is no threat to the public.
