Teen Improv for Grades 6-12 - FREE Summer Class, South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction, 3 p.m.
Learn how to improvise like they do at famous comedy theaters like Second City and the Upright Citizen’s Brigade. Practice the same games and exercises used by famous comedians like Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Steve Carrell. Instructors Mike Weiss and Jessica Weiss perform together as the father-daughter improv duo “Grandma Hates Technology.” They have appeared in numerous comedy and improv festivals all over the country as well as on comedycentral.com.
Hidden Gems - Summer Concert in the Park, Beechwoods Park, 117, Beekman Road, Monmouth Junction, 7 p.m.
A fantastic show by the amazingly talented and extremely passionate singers of Hidden Gems.

Neighborhood Clothes Closet, First Presbyterian Church at Dayton, 1 p.m.
Gently used back-to-school and adult, lightweight clothing has been gathered and will be available at no cost. Please feel free to come and browse through the variety of clothing available. The Clothes Closet will be open on Aug. 3 and 4 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Church's Fellowship Hall. Near the 5 points intersection in Dayton, the church is in close proximity along Georges Road to the WaWa.

Local Charity Hosts Volleyball Tournament, Woodlot Park 124 New Rd Kendall Park, 8 a.m.
Marna's Pals, a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization is hosting its very first annual volleyball tournament at Woodlot Park. Marna's Pals is dedicated to helping students whose immediate family has been affected by cancer to pursue higher education through the aid of scholarships. Teams of six to nine players can register for $150 and Individuals can register for $30. Sign up is quick and easy, simply go to www.MarnasPals.com/volleyball.
