Cops: Young Students Approached and Asked if They Wanted Candy
Police looking for two teens in a Toyota Highlander.

South Brunswick Police are investigating a suspicious incident that occurred on Thursday afternoon involving two juveniles on Ridge Road.
Shortly after 3 p.m., the two young males were walking home from Monmouth Junction Elementary School when an SUV stopped in front of them. A passenger in the vehicle rolled down his window and asked the kids if they wanted candy, according to police.
The two males in the vehicle then laughed before driving off in the direction of the Monmouth Junction Post Office.
The vehicle was described as a silver or grey Toyota Highlander. The occupants of the truck were described by police as two white males in their late teens.

The driver of the SUV had a black tattoo on his upper right arm and the passenger had brown hair, police said.
South Brunswick Police have subsequently increased their presence around township schools as a result of the incident and are asking anyone with information to call 732-329-4646.
