Cops: Man Had Pot on His Jacket as He Spoke to Officer
Two men charged with possession after allegedly being caught smoking marijuana in their cars.

Two men are facing drug charges in separate incidents after being caught smoking marijuana in their vehicles, police said.
At 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Rocky Hill Road. Officer Mike Kuchma approached the vehicle and smelled the odor of burnt marijuana.
As Kuchma spoke to the driver, Ahamed Sahulhameed, 27, of Piscataway, he observed "green vegetation" on Sahulhameed's fleece jacket right below his chin, police said.

Kuchma asked if the substance was marijuana and Sahulhameed admitted that it was, according to police.
A subsequent search of the vehicle recovered additional marijuana. Sahulhameed was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams. He was processed and released on a summons.

On Saturday morning at 3 a.m., officers responded to the La Mirage Motel on Route 1 after receiving a suspicious vehicle report.
Upon arrival in the parking lot, Officer Ricardo Moreira detected the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle as he approached, police said.
The driver, Sean Manners, 20, of North Brunswick, was arrested after he allegedly admitted to smoking marijuana in the vehicle as he was sitting in the parking lot, according to police. Manners was also in possession of a grinder used to break up marijuana.
Manners was charged for being under the influence of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons after processing.
