Cranbury Twp. Seeing Uptick In Home Break-Ins, Police Report
There has been a significant uptick in nighttime burglaries of occupied homes in Cranbury Township, police there announced this week.
CRANBURY, NJ — There has been a significant uptick in nighttime burglaries of occupied homes in Cranbury Township, police there announced this week.
In the early morning hours of Feb. 18 an occupied home on McKnight Court was broken into. With the homeowners asleep in the house, multiple suspects entered the home through an unlocked window.
"This is the same M/O that we are seeing occurring nearly every night in surrounding municipalities," said Cranbury Police in a Nixle alert.

They say they are adding extra patrols to the residential areas.
Make sure to lock all doors and windows. Lock vehicles. Do not leave key fobs or garage door openers in vehicles.
