SOUTH BRUNSWICK – Multiple vehicles were involved in a crash that caused major closures on the New Jersey Turnpike on Wednesday, police said.

A truck overturned in South Brunswick, officials said.

The crash happened at milepost 77 in South Brunswick where all southbound truck lanes were closed around 3 p.m., police said. Lanes soon reopened and only the right lane was blocked by 3:45 p.m.

Troopers were investigating the crash involving multiple vehicles, police said.

All traffic was initially diverted to the car lanes. Expect delays.
