Margaret Berry Appointed Principal At Indian Fields In South Brunswick
Berry will take over from Peter Rattien, who was appointed director of Special Projects in the district.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The South Brunswick Board of Education recently appointed Margaret Berry as the new principal of Indian Fields Elementary School.
Berry will take over from Peter Rattien, who was appointed the new director of Special Projects in the district. She served as the Assistant Principal for South Brunswick High School.
Superintendent Scott Feder acknowledged the search committee's efforts in finding the best candidate and highlighted Berry's qualifications.

Speaking to the community, Berry thanked the BOE for the opportunity and expressed her admiration for the administration for recognizing her potential.
“I'm humbled to have the privilege of advancing in leadership within a district that embraced me with open arms and consistently provided me with opportunities. I'm thrilled to join an elementary school with an exceptional staff. You guys seem super fun already. I'm here for that,” Berry said.

Berry thanked her family for their support and credited them for motivating her. She further said she was ready to face challenges and celebrate successes with the Indian Fields community.
“I'm ready to step into the arena with you, together, we will work hard celebrate successes and rise to meet challenges head on. I'm so grateful for this opportunity, and I can't wait to get started,” Berry said.
