Knitting and Crocheting Group, South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction, 7 p.m.

The group meets to knit, crochet and do other fiber arts and to share tips, patterns, and good conversation. The group is open to anyone (14 years and older) who knows how to knit or crochet; knitting and crocheting instruction is not provided.

Teens and tweens, join us for an afternoon of fun craft.

Teen Improv for Grades 6-12 - FREE Summer ClassSouth Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction, 3 p.m.

Learn how to improvise like they do at famous comedy theaters like Second City and the Upright Citizen’s Brigade. Practice the same games and exercises used by famous comedians like Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Steve Carrell. Instructors Mike Weiss and Jessica Weiss perform together as the father-daughter improv duo “Grandma Hates Technology.” They have appeared in numerous comedy and improv festivals all over the country as well as on comedycentral.com.
