Five Things You Need to Know Today: Nov. 15
Antique appraisals, new site features and more.

- On Wednesday, November 17 at 7 pm, Springfield's public library is offering residents a chance to live out their Antiques Roadshow fantasies. They invite you to have your antiques, collectibles and treasures evaluated by Ken Jakupko of Ken's Antiques in Rahway and Summit Antiques Center in Summit. Limit of two items per person. Pre-registration is highly recommended.
- The YMCA offers arthritis sufferers a unique way to alleviate their pain through Tai Chi. The classes are held every Monday from 11 am to noon. Call 973-467-0838 for more information.
- Roadwork continues on South Springfield Ave. tonight. The county is scheduled to start paving the road. The work is scheduled to last from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- And if you want to know what's going on with the schools, the Board of Education meets tonight at 7:30 at Dayton's Independent Media Center.
