I-295 Vehicle Fire In Springfield Prompts Delays Tuesday Morning: DOT

SPRINGFIELD, NJ - A vehicle fire on I-295 in Springfield has prompted commuting delays Tuesday morning, authorities said.

As of 6:29 a.m., there’s a vehicle fire on I-295 southbound at north of Exit 47 - CR 541/Burlington-Mount Holly Road in Springfield Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

The right shoulder is currently closed, the agency said.
