SPRINGFIELD, NJ —Traffic is delayed on I-78 westbound on Wednesday afternoon between Springfield and Berkeley Heights townships due to an accident.

EMS activity has the right lane closed east of the exit for CR 527/Glenside Avenue in Berkeley Heights Township, the NJ Department of Transportation said.

The current travel time between Exits 48 and 44 is between 30-35 minutes, the NJ Department of Transportation said at 3 p.m.
