Learn About Essential Oils at Trailside

Ever want to learn more about promoting health and wellness the natural way? Trailside Nature and Science Center is holding a program on essential oils you won't want to miss.


Trailside Nature and Science Center is helping county residents discover new ways to get and stay healthy.

They'll be hosting a program, 'Essential Oils for Everyday Health and Wellness' on Thursday, April 25, from 7 to 8:30 pm at 452 New Providence Road in Mountainside.

Peggy DeArmond, a certified clinical aromatherapist, will lecture on the ancient aromatic medicine of the plant kingdom and how it has provided natural health and wellness of body, mind and spirit throughout the ages. DeArmond will show how participants how they can enhance their well-being and their family’s by using her techniques.

Participants will create their own aromatic spray to take home.

The cost for the program is $15 for Union County residents and $20 for out-of-county participants. Pre-registration is required, but walk-ins will be accommodated as space and materials permit.
