Revenue
Springfield's revenue continued to buck statewide averages in 2009-2010, with revenue from local sources assuming nearly twice the statewide average of 2008-2009's 50 percent and 2009-2010's 51 percent. Springfield's local funding of its school district rose from 88 percent in 2008-2009 to 91 percent in 2009-2010. The district receieved 5 percent of its funding from the state in those years; this year, the school received no state aid. The difference in the two years is due to a drop from 6 to 3 percent in the "other funding" line item.
