The Arc of Union County held its first annual Swing into Summer Golf event on June 21st at Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth, NJ. The beautiful weather held, and a great game of golf for a good cause was played. The Arc welcomed 72 golfers to this event and raised over $41,000 to benefit The Arc of Union County. This was a particularly special event as The Arc of Union County’s long-time Executive Director Frank Caragher, retired at the end of June after 49 years of dedicated service to The Arc and the I/DD community. His successor, Edwin Asuta, has taken on this role as of January 2023.

The Arc would like to congratulate all of its golfers on a game well played and recognize the 1st and 2nd place foursomes:

  • Cureton/Thomas/Dorsey/Foster (-9)
  • Risk Strategies Meeker Sharkey Hurley: Team Pete (-6)

The Arc is also excited to announce the winner of the Kiawah Island Golf Experience Raffle as Ryan Frangopoulos from Macro Technology. This prize is a luxury three-day, two-night stay at the exclusive Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina.
