Armed Robbery At Sunoco Gas Station In Summit, Police Seek Information
Two armed men stole money from a gas station attendant in Summit on Sunday, according to police.

SUMMIT, NJ — Two men committed an armed robbery at Arch Sunoco on Morris Turnpike in Summit on Sunday, according Summit Police.
Police said the two men wearing hoodies and face masks drove up to the Sunoco service station at about 6 p.m. in a black, four-door Audi with a temporary license tag in the rear window. After parking adjacent to the fuel pumps, police said the driver exited the car with a shotgun and approached the attendant in the cashier's booth, demanding money.
The second suspect, armed with a handgun, searched the attendant and removed $95 in cash from their person, according to police.

Following the theft, police said the suspects returned to their car and fled east on Morris Turnpike toward Springfield.
The gas station attendant was unharmed, according to police.

Summit Police Department asks anyone with information pertinent to the investigation, including surveillance footage of the suspects or suspect vehicle in the area, to contact the Detective Bureau at (908) 273-0051.
