BMW Stolen From Summit Home Wednesday
The car was stolen from a Fernwood Road residence Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

SUMMIT, NJ — A resident's BMW was stolen from a Summit residence Wednesday afternoon, according to Summit Police.
Police said the 2021 BMW 300 series sedan was stolen from a Fernwood Road residence.
Surveillance footage at the residences shows that the car, believed to be unlocked with the key fob inside, was taken at 12:53 p.m.

Summit has seen a decrease in the number of car thefts recently. More than 20 cars were stolen out of the city in 2022
Prior to Wednesday's incident, the most recent car theft occurred in October.
